Elisa Bertolotti Was Born in Parma. She works in Milan, where she is completing a PhD in communication and multimedia design at the Politecnico di Milano on practices, methods and techniques in contemporary animation, in relation with communication design.

Her work is related to communication design, and it finds its place in stories translated in images. Over time, she shifted from long, complex and elaborate works to a lighter production, from the timing and design constraints point of view. She is looking for fast and intuitive techniques, and a series of drawn projects which ask, in order to exist, the joyful participation of many people.
